Move over WAG'S...Livercool has arrived

Liverpool is one of my favourite cities in the country, not only does it demonstrate it's own fashion culture, but is the official home of the Beatles. The lively city emits a buzzing atmosphere that surrounds you as soon as you step out onto the streets, not forgetting that famous scouse accent which personally makes me weak at the knees.
I visited the famous Liverpool in early December 09, just before all the crazy last minute shoppers descended upon the high streets. A walk around the £1billion project of the brand new Liverpool One shopping centre, unveils the work of many of the world's most innovative architects, as well as many hidden gems and considerate renovations to existing shops, the new shopping district enhances the city's historical and cultural heritage.
Not long ago Liverpool was famous for it's unnaturally orange ladies and it was well known in the fashion industry that they were the biggest buyer of Lacoste trackies in the world. Now with the arrival of Liverpool One, here's a little fact for you, last year due to the new shopping district, the city had increased it's shoppers by 18%. This seemed to be thanks to the super sized Topshop claiming its position on Church Street followed by numerous classic boutiques such as Lola Loves, Kirsty Doyle and Claudia Pink. The future's bright for Liverpool but it certainly isn't orange anymore.
